"Guardians"
A Treasure, A Secret, or A Memory, are often protected by a Guardian.
This idea is represented by two Eagles carved in Mammoth Ivory (Approx. 12,000 yrs. old) set with jet eyes, watching over their charge, represented by a beautiful Pakistan Peridot.
The Eagles are formed with Black Walnut (Oregon), and set on a stand of Lacewood, a quarter sawed section of Northern silkey oak, from N.E. Queensland, Australia. This is set on a base of Yew wood(S.W.Oregon) and Purpleheart, (Brasil).
